Your pooch can enjoy many of the same services you do at his own dog spa, say the Grupo Mayan spa team members.  Dog spas became popular in Europe several years ago and are now appearing in the United States and Central America.

You will drop your dog off for his spa ìdateî and find other dogs also being dropped off for the spa. Your dog will enjoy some time getting to know the other dogs who will be sharing his spa experience.  After you check your loveable and excited pooch in he will be led to an air conditioned pooch playroom which is full of treats and toys. As your dog will be dining throughout the day you may bring his own food if he is on a special diet.  Dog spa specialists, according to the Grupo Mayan pros, will play with your dog and encourage him to release all of his extra energy.

After your pooch is played out, say the Grupo Mayan pros, the spa experience commences.  It will start with a good old fashioned bath to get your dog clean.  The dog washers will clean your dog´s ears and wash between fingers and toes.
